With the Premier League season up and running, it will yet again be the Premier League that takes people's attention.
Youth football is something that somehow passes the media by, yet you rarely see a game that isn't entertaining or eventful.
What people don't realise is how hard youth footballers have to work to earn a chance on the big stage.
But you have to remember that the likes of Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen and Aston Villa's new signing Fabian Delph have all come through respective Youth team set-ups.
One of the most well known set-ups is at Manchester City although it was Arsenal who conquered in the FA Youth Cup last season, beating Liverpool 6-2 on aggregate in the final.
Could you spare a few hours each week and give some young players the support they need to raise their game and help them to become the stars we all want to see shine in the Premier League in up-and-coming seasons? Check out your club's websites for more details on fixture times or you could always visit www.proyouthfootball.co.uk for the latest news and results.
